Activities Coordinator

Job Summary:
We are seeking an Activities Coordinator to organize and facilitate recreational, social, and educational activities for our residents. The Activities Coordinator will work closely with staff and residents to plan events, outings, and programs that promote engagement and well-being.

Pay Range: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour - based on experience and skillset

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required;
  • CPR and First Aid certification
  • At least 2 years of proven experience in organizing and implementing recreational activities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of activity planning and delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with staff to create a calendar of activities and events.
  • Coordinate and lead various recreational and educational activities for participants.
  • Ensure all activities are inclusive and accessible to all individuals.
  • Maintain records of participation and feedback to improve future activities.
  • Manage resources and supplies needed for activities and events.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff regarding upcoming activities.
  • Evaluate the success of activities and make recommendations for improvements.

Working Conditions:

  • This position may require evening and weekend availability.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Willingness to undergo a background check.
